The majority of the clients of our firm are individual parents of disabled
students who are in need of legal counseling in order to insure that the
rights of such students under the Individuals with Disabilities
Education Act (IDEA) are protected and enforced, or who also
have rights to Regional Center services in California.

Parents of Special Needs Children – Groups
For prospective clients for whom the cost of individual representation is not feasible, or whose difficulties with a school district are less severe, but who still seek legal assistance, we have developed our Pre-paid Group Legal Services program to provide individual legal assistance, but in a group format, and with the parents communicating directly with the local school district following individual review and advice from our staff, at a far lower cost than Individual representation.Click here for more information on Pre-paid Group Legal Services Program
Non-Profit Corporations
Finally, we serve non-profit and for-profit corporations that:
- Operate Group Homes and Foster Family Agencies that contract with California counties to provide services to minors who are in the custody of the Juvenile Courts in California, or to minors who are determined to be in need of residential services to receive an appropriate education under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
- Operate certified Non-public Special Education Schools (NPS), and contract with public school districts to serve disabled students for whom there is no available publicly operated educational program.
